It's not easy to get a group of my family's size together often, and finding places that can accommodate a party of 7 that also produces excellent food is a challenge in an of itself. Broken Bit is the business. Small town environment, but when you walk in the door, a legitimate steakhouse aura greets you. You'd have no idea it shares a strip mall building with an ambulance company. Dark wood, lowlights, and a warm environment abound. The menu is expansive and has a lot of options. The food is excellent and well prepared. I don't remember what everyone at the table had but the highlights I recall are: deeply flavorful polenta, jalapeño poppers that were equally sweet and spicy, and excellent steaks. Large wine and liquor menu as well, so discerning pallets are well met. It's fantastic that a place like this exists in a town that only seems to grow when corporate entities move in. Make a reservation and settle in for an excellent meal.

While the space is cozy, it adds to the charm and makes for an intimate dining experience. The food here is absolutely incredible--steaks cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was calm and romantic, making it a perfect spot for a date night or a relaxed evening out. They also have a lovely outdoor seating area with fire pits, which adds a cozy touch for those who enjoy dining under the stars. One standout aspect of our visit was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly nice, welcoming, and attentive. Our server was knowledgeable and helped my fiancé and me pick exactly what we were looking for, which elevated the whole experience. Service was quick and efficient, making the evening smooth and enjoyable. My favorite dish was the Ahi Tuna Stack--fresh and beautifully seasoned with center-cut yellowfin tuna, creamy avocado, a bright gazpacho, and a perfect balance of chipotle oil, furikake seasoning, and soy ginger lime vinaigrette. My mouth is literally watering just thinking about it again! The restaurant also has a large parking lot with plenty of space, and while there are other small businesses nearby, they tend to close early, leaving the lot open for restaurant guests. One small critique would be the plating--it could have been more refined--but honestly, it didn't matter because we devoured every bite! It's worth noting that the restaurant leans more toward a bar-style vibe, so it may not be the best choice for kids, as the menu is more adult-focused. If you're looking for amazing food, attentive service, and a relaxed, romantic ambiance, Broken Bit Steakhouse is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Great food and drinks and one of the few restaurants in the AV that stands out! A good whiskey on the rocks paired with a good steak is all I need !

Wow! I was very pleased with our visit last night. All of the staff were so kind and welcoming, and very attentive. The food was AMAZING! We got the quail breast appetizers and the pork chops and they were delicious and tender! The restaurant itself was decorated very nicely and was very clean. The "Bees Knees" cocktail was also a delight! Definitely recommend!

Not only was the food great but the service was even better!! Our waiter was great and even gave us a free dessert for our 13th anniversary!!

Omgosh, where do I start?! Amazing service, I came in as a party of 2 for the first time without a reservation and got immediate bar seating and when I tell you the experience couldn't be any better. Kimmie started us off with the amazing "Annie Oakley " it was the bomb.com. Jaden put the word in for the Braised Beef Cheeks, I was over here swaying in my chair, everything about it was simply amazing!!! Andrew came through and gave us a brief story of how the restaurant came to be and the story was absolutely fascinating. I'm truly glad I could experience Oh so I can't forget about the onion straws and Brussels sprouts. Everything was amazing!!!

This is our favorite place! We celebrated our dear friend's birthdays here tonight. We had filets and of course, they were amazing. The owner Mike came by and asked if there was anything we needed. We teased that we would like some non-alcoholic beer . He happened to be out at the moment and proceeded to go to the dairy across the street to get us some. So sweet and literally the extra mile that this restaurant goes to make sure you are happy and have an amazing experiences. The desserts were off the chain wrapping up this phenomenal dinner. We love it here! It's our "go to" for a delicious dinner and great conversation! Thank you for another amazing experience! We will be back!!! Thanks you Mike!!!

Been here several times and it's always pretty packed so you'll want to make reservations. The servers are always really friendly but service can be a little on the slower end some times. The food is normally really good but this time my cowboy steak was just a little bit too well for what I ordered. The flavor was still really good but I ordered medium rare and it came out medium well on the outer parts and medium closer to the bone. My daughter got the kids steak kebab and didn't like it. I tried it and I think it's because they marinade the meat in pretty strong marinade and my daughter is used to plain steak with salt. She also likes it medium to medium rare and we weren't even given an option on the kids kebab it was given well done. Hopefully it'll be better next time we come because we really like the steaks here.
